Over 50 years of auctioneering and online auction experience has been invested in the development of OnlineAuction.com. As a result, we believe we have created something very special.

At the onset there were five (5) key areas Chris Fain, President, OnlineAuction.com, was determined to address based on his personal and professional experience, they are:

PRICE

It is our goal to transform the Internet auction industry with a fee structure that allows Sellers to list as many items as they wish for $8 a month. Our pricing strategy eliminates individual item listing fees, final value fees (commissions), and other charges/fees imposed by other sites.

SAFETY

Everyone complaining about FRAUD on the Internet, however, very little is being done. We believe that today online auction users are looking for as much security as possible, which is why we introduced our Verified Member Program. We are the first site to demonstrate that we are serious about attracting only legitimate Buyers. Verified Buyers will go through the same monthly credit card verification check that the Sellers do. So, if you want to bid/buy items valued at over $200 in a 24-hour period you must become a Verified Buyer for a membership fee of $4 a month.

While other sites do not impose a Buyer fee, let take a look at the traditional auctioneering industry and how business has been conducted for years, along with other industry factors. Most live auctions have Buyer fees, averaging around 10%. Second, many online auction sites charge exorbitant individual listing and final value fees, which eats into the Sellers profits. The result is often higher shipping & handling rates charged to Buyers. Third, most Sellers have had an issue with Buyer legitimacy at least once in their lifetime that resulted in lost revenue. Last, we have created OnlineAuction.com with the idea in mind that someday we will take that leap of faith and become a Members Only online auction site, making us one of the most secure Internet auction sites ever!

SIMPLICITY

Keeping things simple has been another goal since the beginning. We have two (2) enhancement fees, while the industry leader has 44. The result is a very simple invoice, rather than a very complex invoice. Registering, listing items, and re-listing items are all much easier on OnlineAuction.com.

FREEDOM

We encourage our members to link to their own website to promote their own business and products. In fact, we even allow you to post links to your products listed on other corporate sites. Remember, we want to promote you and your business, not control you! Feel free to re-direct and contact past, present, and future customers any way you want and direct them anywhere you want.
